Took me a minute, but found this from Thanksgiving 2016. Silly times.

Sitting here having the song “You Are My Sunshine” play over and over in my head. And then it came to me. So..I found my trusty yearbook and turned to this page.

Hard to believe this was almost 30 years ago.

Over 30 years ago, I met the one and only Cindy Li. She was one of my first friends at a new school. And if you guessed we met in an art class…then you are correct. I was truly in awe of her talent. And the ideas that would just come to her…we have all witnessed that. I remember going to one of her birthday parties at her parents restaurant. That was my introduction to her family…and some of the best food!

Friday nights..TGIF on ABC…3+ hours on the phone just listening, talking….not a care in the world. Until my sister or brother got on the phone saying they needed to use it. Oh…the days of the mid/late 80s. Good times. Everybody now…let’s all sing the theme song to “Full House”! LOL
